We are all really looking forward to welcoming our alumni back to our concert at the Barbirolli Hall on 22nd November. Over the next month or two I will add the scores that you will need, together with the recordings that you can use to support practising at home.
I have included 2 scores of 'with a little help'. One is marked up showing the parts which are singing the melody. I'm very happy for you to jump from one part to the other and just stick with the tune. If you want more of a challenge then the normal score, unmarked, is also there, if you'd rather sing the harmonies. Similarly, the recordings are up as the normal parts, the full score, and the version that is just the melody line, following the marked up score.
The second song is Movin' on up, a joyous gospel style song by Primal Scream. This has a part that has been specifically written for the alumni, which is very straightforward. I've included just your part (including clapping!) and also the full score version.
And finally there's the unison version of 'Love sounds like this'. This was written for the Beaconsfield Festival of Choirs for this year, and is a lovely, satisfying song to sing. I've given you the unison version, as it will fit with the parts that VV and Seer Green Singers already know and is not difficult to learn.
